II MADRID SKATING MARATHONS LEAGUE 2023
1 – ORGANIZATION
“The Second League of Skating Marathons from Madrid” is sponsored by the Inline Madrid Sporting Club with the support of the Technical Committee of High Speed Inline Skate Federation From Madrid in collaboration with the districts of “Vicálvaro, San Blas – Canillejas, Retiro y (to be confirmed)”.
The aim of “The Second League of Skating Marathons from Madrid” is to continue with the annual circuit, promoting actively the sporting development of both the skaters and the the individual federations across the country through a national ranking for both individual and teams.
The organizer reserves the right to change the defined routes, called tests, or modify the regulations. Circumstances that will be communicated to the participants, always as an improvement.
All audiovisual and photographic material belongs to the organization. The participants authorize the free use of this material by the organization, for the dissemination and promotion of the sporting event.

2 – CALENDAR / SCHEDULE
2.1 SCHEDULE:
The Second Madrid Skating Marathon League will take place from February to November 2023, in 4 venues throughout the Community of Madrid:
- III ROLLER MARATHON VICÁLVARO 12/02/2023.
- II ROLLER MARATHON SAN BLAS-CANILLEJAS 04/06/2023.
- ROLLER MARATHON RETIRO 03/09/2023
- CIRCUIT TO BE CONFIRMED 12/11/2023. Closing party.
2. 2 SCHEDULES:
All Roller Marathons are on Sunday and in the morning:
07:00 – 08:30 Delivery of numbers
08:30 – 09:00 Reconnaissance lap / Warm-up
09:00 Start of the test
11:30 Closing of the lap control pass
11:30-12:00 Popular Race
11:30 – 12:00 Awards ceremony
12:00 Closing of the event
At 11:30 a.m. The passage through the lap control point will be closed, so that participants who have not passed through that point must leave the route towards the final refreshment point.
3 – CIRCUITS / TIMING / COLLECTION OF NUMBERS AND CHIP
3.1 CIRCUITS OF THE LEAGUE:
The circuits of each test will be completely closed to traffic by the National Police.
The League is national in scope, arbitrated by national and regional judges, and will have the technical supervision of the Madrid Skating Federation committee.

3. 2 TIMING:
The races will be timed by the Chrono Sports Company, and supervised by judges, national and regional, arranged by the federation, who will also observe any attempt at fraud regarding the chip, or the distance traveled.
Participants will be able to check the results at the end of the test on the Sportmaniacs Platform.
3. 3 COLLECTION OF NUMBERS AND CHIP:
The numbers and the chip will be provided by the organizing club, in the runner’s bag on Saturday; day before the race, or Sunday; in the Roller Marathon of the League 2023.
Place and hours:
- Saturday: IN-GRAVITY Skate Shop.
Pza. Mariano de Cavia, 2. Retiro area – Madrid.
From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Sunday: FINISH AREA
From 07:00 to 08:30 hours.
For the collection of numbers it will be essential to present the ID, PASSPORT or NIE and federative card (in the case of federated). Each number will be personal and non-transferable and by default will only be delivered to the registered person.
The number will be placed perfectly visible on the leg and must be worn throughout the race. The chip is placed on the skater’s ankle.
At the time of picking up the number (runner’s bag), the skater must leave their Federation License, ID or €20 that will be returned at the end of the test when the chip is returned.
* If you cannot collect your bib number and chip, you can designate a person to do so in his name, who must be present at the bib delivery with the following documentation:
- Authorization signed by the participant together with a photocopy of the ID
- Photocopy Federative license (in case of federated).
4 – LUGGAGE / SUPPLIES / BATHROOMS
LUGGAGE
Each League test will have a locker next to the finish area so that skaters can leave their backpacks, suitcases, etc.
SUPPLIES
Two refreshment areas are made available to skaters; one near the goal area and another at the furthest point from it.
TOILETS
Each race will have chemical toilets for participants and assistants.
5 – INSURANCE
All federated skaters registered in the League have coverage, in the event of an accident, through the policy of the Federation to which they belong.
Non-federated members will be covered by accident insurance, included in the registration price (€5).
The organizer of the event has contracted a Civil Liability insurance policy, which provides coverage against third parties, for damages caused during the development of the activity.
It is recommended that all participants undergo the necessary medical check-ups, stress tests, and those necessary reviews to ensure that they can participate in these tests given the demands they have.
6 – HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE MARATHON LEAGUE
In order to participate in the II Madrid Skating Marathon League, skaters must be in possession of the 2023 federation license corresponding to their Autonomous Community or country of origin (in the case of foreigners).
All federated skaters may participate in the League, from the Alevín category to Master 60, choosing a minimum of three tests and a maximum of four, in any of the three established distances (42k, 21k, 10k).
This new season, we will have commemorative gifts for all the participants in each of the marathons that make up the 2023 League.

7 – DISTANCES / CATEGORIES
Underage federated participants, in the ALEVIN, INFANTIL, JUVENIL and JUNIOR categories, may participate in the LEAGUE in the corresponding distances (10k, 21k, 42k), presenting the authorization signed by the parents or legal guardians, which you will find in the organizer’s website.
The categories called for the Madrid Skating Marathon League 2023 will be the following, for men and women:

8 – LEAGUE RANKINGS
8.1 – INDIVIDUAL CLASSIFICATION
A General Ranking of the League will be established in the Marathon distance; 42k, Half Marathon; 21k and 10k. A general classification will also be established for each of the established categories.
The final score of each participant in the League will be obtained from the sum of the 3 scores obtained in the contested tests. Those participants who compete in the 4 League tests will always have the 3 best scored tests counted.
The scoring scale will be developed as follows:
BY CATEGORIES IN MALE AND FEMALE:
1st Classified 200 points
2nd Classified 192 points
3rd Classified 186 points
4th Classified 182 points
5th Classified 180 points,
6th will add 179 points, 7th will add 178, and so on, until reaching the last place in the general classification of the League.
If in the individual classification of the categories, or of the general, two or more participants were tied on points, the order of classification between them will be determined by the greatest number of first places compared between the two, that have been obtained in the different tests. disputed in the League, proclaiming the winner the one who has obtained the best positions. If the tie is maintained, second places, third, and so on until the tiebreaker is achieved.
Athletes who do not complete the course in its entirety due to breakdown, fall, etc., will be classified according to the laps they do and will receive the points corresponding to that classification. In the event that two athletes who do not complete the course in its entirety tie in completed laps, the classification order will be by time of their last lap.
Those registrants who have not taken part in the start, those who, having started, have not previously gone through the signature control, or those who have been disqualified, will not have any type of score. It will not be possible to pass an inscription of a test that has not been attended, to successive tests.
8.2 – CLASSIFICATION BY TEAMS
To score as a team, the points of their three best classified in the general will be added. That is, the points to be determined by test will be established in such a way that the score of the first team will be equivalent to the total number of points added by the first three members of said team (male/female).
The final score for each team will be obtained taking into account the scores obtained in the following tests: Vicálvaro, San Blas-Canillejas, Retiro, and (to be confirmed)”.
If in the final classification, two or more teams are tied on points, the classification order between them will be determined by the highest number of first places that have been obtained in the different races held, proclaiming the winner the one that has obtained the best places. If the tie were maintained, second places, third places, … and so on until the tiebreaker was achieved.
9 – PARTICIPANTS / GENERAL RULES:
All skaters must respect the itinerary marked by the organization.
Both federated, national or foreign skaters, as well as non-federated, who are trained for their practice, may participate.
The federated skaters must wear the kit or clothing of the club with which they are federated. If any skater is sponsored by a brand or store, they must request a letter from their club to allow them to run the Madrid Skating Marathon League 2023. Likewise, independent federated skaters must wear white and/or black equipment without brands or logos.
Underage federated participants must present an authorization signed by the parents or legal guardians in the registration form.
Quads (or traditional) and inline skates will be allowed.
In the inline skate configurations of 3, 4 or 5 wheels will be allowed. The use of 125 mm wheels will only be allowed in the distances of 42K and 21K, from the SENIOR category onwards for federated and non-federated members.
The use of the helmet is mandatory.
The organization will establish out of control times for skaters who do not perform the test at the minimum speed required.
Skaters who have not collected their number and chip before starting the tests, will not be able to participate in them.
The use of the slipstream between skaters is allowed as long as there is no contact between them. It is forbidden, under expulsion, to help yourself in any way (grab / drag / be pushed by another skater, motorcycle).
The organizer reserves the right not to allow the registration of those skaters who may pose a risk to the rest of the participants.
The participant who, once enrolled in a test, could not attend it, will lose all the rights that the registration of it will give him, as well as the registration fee that he would have paid.
All skaters, by registering, accept the conditions of the regulations imposed by the organization, and are obliged to comply with the General Regulations of Competitions of the Royal Spanish Skating Federation.
In the event that you want to make a claim about the final classification of a race, this must be done in the first instance before the person in charge of the League, who will be empowered to resolve it at that very moment. In the event that this is not carried out, there will also be a period of 48 hours after the end of it to be able to make this claim in writing or by e-mail to the company responsible for timing to verify said claim. Outside this period, no incident will be resolved.

Non-federated skaters, from 18 years old, may participate in any of the 4 marathons and will opt, in each race, for the overall male and female podium in the corresponding 10k, 21k and 42k distances.

12– AWARDS
12.1 RACE AWARDS
Medals will be awarded to the winners of each of the events that make up the II Skating Marathon League Madrid 2023, and it can be cumulative, that is, a runner can win a medal in the general and in his category.

13 – DISQUALIFICATIONS / SANCTIONS
13.1 – DISQUALIFICATIONS OF AN EVENT.
The disqualification of skaters in a test will lead to the loss of all those points obtained in any given race.
Reasons for disqualification:
– Wear the bib number clipped or because it is not perfectly positioned and legible, in the places determined by the organization, until entering the finish line.
– Not following the indications of the organization or judges.
– Entering outside the time set by the organization as the maximum duration of the test or at the intermediate control.
– Any skater who, by shortening or shortening illegally, does not complete the complete route.
– Unsportsmanlike conduct.
– Not wearing a protective helmet, its use being mandatory.
– Do not pass the signature control established for the test.
– Not respecting the order of the starts in the test.
- 2 – DISQUALIFICATIONS OF THE LEAGUE.
Disqualification from the Madrid 2022 Skating Marathon League will entail the loss of all the points obtained individually and as a group by the offender in the tests in which he/she would have participated.
Reasons for disqualification:
– Expulsion of 2 tests
– Running with the Federation License of another skater.
– Participate with a number or chip that corresponds to another participant.
– Participate with more than one chip.
– Transfer the number or chip to another participant.
– Run with the number or chip of another participant.
– Data alteration.
– Not respecting the route established by the organization.
– Do not pass the control of signatures repeatedly.
– Not respecting the order of exits repeatedly.
